• I enjoy reading mysteries (James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell are favorites), waterskiing, four-wheeling and jet-skiing as well as running (finished both Grandma’s and Twin Cities marathons in 1999).

• My husband, Andy, and our cat, Nightshade.

If I wasn't a dentist, I would be:

• an oceanographer – I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau’s adventures with my dad and always dreamed of scuba diving in a tropical paradise. Hopefully soon, I’ll be able to add diving to my list of hobbies!
