Hobbies & Interests

• I enjoy reading different genres of books. I just finished “Street Lawyer” by John Grisham, which was very entertaining.
• I like to jog outside when the weather permits.
• We enjoy traveling; one of our favorite destinations is Costa Rica. I would also love to visit Paris

Family

• My family includes my husband Rich, who is also a dentist, and my son, Kiran, a fun and rambunctious boy. We have two dogs, Pisco, who is eight-years-old and came from the Chicago city pound, and Lobo, six-years-old from the Zuni Indian Reservation in New Mexico.

Community Service

•  I was with the Indian Health Service, where I worked until we moved here in 2010. I participated in “Healthy Lifestyle” events that encouraged exercise and good nutrition. Proper habits for children were emphasized, including good oral hygiene.

If I wasn't a dentist, I would be:

• A journalist. The idea of international journalism always interested me as a child and I enjoyed writing in school. I love to keep up with current events on a local, national and international level.
