Hobbies & Interests

• I enjoy reading different types of books. One of my favorite authors is Jodi Picoult.
• I love traveling – I’ve traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe and lived in a few different countries.
• I love animals, especially dogs. When my husband and I lived in Miami, Florida, I volunteered at Miami’s Humane Society. Our dog, Ellie, is a rescue; she was found abandoned in a garbage bin in Northern MN.
• I enjoy going to new and different restaurants and tasting different dishes. One of my favorite types of food is Thai food.
• I am very environmentally conscious and love to recycle, compost and do as much as possible to minimize my negative effect on the environment.

Family

• My husband, Daniel, two cats, Damian and Olivia, and dog, Ellie.

Other

• I speak Slovenian and Spanish.
• If I wasn’t a dentist, I would run an animal rescue shelter or become a chef.
